Andreas Heiser was born in 1971. He studied Protestant theology in Göttingen, Ewersbach, Bochum, and Marburg, and received his doctorate in 2009. From 2010 onward, he taught church history at the Theological University of Ewersbach, where he served as a professor of church history and held the position of rector.
