Andrea Fischer

Andrea Fischer, born in Osnabrück in 1969, studied literary translation in Düsseldorf and received her diploma in 1996. After working at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and completing an internship in the editorial department of Kiepenheuer & Witsch, she began working as a freelance literary translator in 1996. She translated more than one hundred books from British and American English into German, including works by Michael Chabon, Lori Nelson Spielman, and Mary Kay Andrews.
