Amy Stewart (born in 1969 in Arlington, Texas) is an American author of several award-winning books about nature and gardening. Four of her books became New York Times bestsellers, and her work has been translated into eleven languages. Her writing on culinary and botanical subjects received, among other honors, the International Association of Culinary Professionals Food Writing Award and the American Horticultural Society’s Book Award. Her professional work has also included writing for The New York Times and editorial work for Fine Gardening magazine.
