Amat Levin

Amat Levin is a Swedish-Gambian journalist, author and podcaster. He is known in part for the podcast “Black History Unveiled,” which he produces in Swedish and English. His honors include the Stora Retorikpriset (2025), Sweden’s Public Educator of the Year (2023), the Anders Carlberg Memorial Prize (2023), and Natur & Kultur’s Popular Science Prize (2023). He was also shortlisted for the August Prize for Non-fiction Book of the Year and the Adlibris Prize for Best Nonfiction Book of the Year.
