Alisa Tretau studied social and cultural anthropology as well as political science at Freie Universität Berlin from 2006 to 2011. She subsequently studied theater directing at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg from 2011 to 2015. Beginning in 2015, she worked in Berlin’s performance scene as a performer, director, and dramaturg, and wrote for various formats.
