Aline Sax, born in Antwerp in 1984, is a historian with a doctorate and an author. She published her first book at the age of 15. Her young adult novel *Eine Welt dazwischen* brought her international recognition and won several awards. Her work frequently addresses historical subjects for children and young adults. Sax has also worked for the historical education institution Gedächtnis-Kollektiv and at Ghent University.
