Alexis Ragougneau

Alexis Ragougneau (born 1973) initially studied business administration before training as an actor. Until 2013, he worked as an actor, director and, primarily, playwright; his plays were performed in France, Belgium and Switzerland and received several awards. His first novel was published in 2014. For “Opus 77,” he received the Prix Libraires en Seine and the Prix de l’Union Interalliée; the novel was also shortlisted for, among others, the Prix Femina and the Prix Goncourt.
