Alexandra Titze-Grabec was born in Vienna in 1976. She studied literary translation in Vienna and art history in Vienna, Lausanne and Venice. From 2010 onward, she translated essays, exhibition catalogues, and nonfiction and academic publications from English and Italian, as well as children’s books, narrative nonfiction and fiction. Authors she translated include Jacopo Fo, Michael Finkel and Henry James. In 2011, she received the City of Vienna Translation Award. For Residenz Verlag, she co-translated the novel Hitzetage (2025) with Hans Christian Oeser.
