Alexandra Kui

Alexandra Kui was born in Buxtehude in 1973. She studied sociology in Hamburg and initially worked for several daily newspapers before becoming an author. Her first crime novel, Der Nebelfelsen, was published in 2005. Her other works include Tod an der Schleuse, Blaufeuer and Wiedergänger, as well as several young adult thrillers and literary novels, including Falsche Nähe. Blaufeuer was adapted for German television by ZDF under the title Der Tote im Watt. Alongside her writing, Kui composed music and sang.
