Alexander Kosenina

Alexander Košenina (born 1963) is a Germanist who taught German literature of the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries at Leibniz University Hannover. In 2008, he moved from a German studies professorship in Bristol to Hannover. He held visiting professorships at universities in Cincinnati, Columbus, Nashville, Beijing, and Tokyo. His publications include „Der gelehrte Narr“ (2003), „Karl Philipp Moritz. Literarische Experimente auf dem Weg zum psychologischen Roman“ (2006), „Literarische Anthropologie“ (2008), and „Blitzlichter der Aufklärung“ (2010). He also edited early crime literature and produced a scholarly, text-critical edition of Schiller’s „Der Verbrecher aus verlorener Ehre“.
