Alexander Fehling

Alexander Fehling, born in Berlin in 1981, studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. He worked at venues including the Deutsches Theater Berlin and the Berliner Ensemble. He became known for roles in the films »Am Ende kommen Touristen«, »Inglourious Basterds«, »Goethe!« and »Wer wenn nicht wir«. In 2007, he received the German Film Award for Young Talent for »Am Ende kommen Touristen«. In 2011, he was named a European Shooting Star and received, among other honors, the Jupiter Award and the Metropolis Film Award for Best Actor. Other notable work includes »Homeland«, »Labyrinth of Lies« and »Gut gegen Nordwind«.
