Alan Dean Foster

Alan Dean Foster (born November 18, 1946, in New York City) wrote novels and adaptations in science fiction, fantasy, horror, crime, and Western genres. He became known in particular for Star Wars novels and novelizations of the first three Alien films. He also wrote material for audiobooks and radio, as well as the story for the first Star Trek film.
