Alakati Neidhardt

Alakati Neidhardt was born in 1981 and grew up in Germany, Ecuador and Uruguay in a Salvadoran-German family. She studied cultural studies and Romance languages and worked for several years in the cultural sector, including event organization and press and public relations at the Goethe-Zentrum Kampala in Uganda. It was there that she began translating. In 2017, she began working as a literary translator.
