Al Pacino

Al Pacino is an American actor and director. He grew up in New York City’s South Bronx and studied acting at the Herbert Berghof Studio and the Actors Studio under Lee Strasberg. He became known for roles in films including “The Godfather,” “Serpico,” “Dog Day Afternoon,” “The Godfather Part II,” and “The Irishman.” He won the Academy Award for Best Actor for “Scent of a Woman.” Pacino also received four Golden Globe Awards and two Tony Awards. His other honors include the Kennedy Center Honors, the AFI Life Achievement Award, the National Medal of Arts, and the Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award.
