Aisha Abdel Gawad

Aisha Abdel Gawad holds a degree in creative writing from Cornell University in New York. In 2015, her short story “Waking Luna” received a Pushcart Prize. She has worked at a community center run by the Arab American Association of New York in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and as an English teacher. “Zwischen zwei Monden” is her first novel.
