Reviewed by rita⭐️ 4.25 stars. This book was so good. I don’t even have a single complaint — it’s not a 5-star read for me, but honestly, I can’t explain why. It just didn’t give me that feeling… and yet, I loved it. The romance felt natural from the start. There was instant chemistry, real attraction, and no annoying third-act breakup — which I really appreciated. Not every love story needs that kind of drama, and I’m glad this series seems to agree. (Indigo Ridge didn’t have one either, and I loved that.) I really enjoyed the setting, the Edens family dynamic, and the small-town charm of Quincy, Montana. It was also refreshing to read about a single mom — I think this might’ve been my first time reading that trope, and I found Memphis’s story really sweet. Watching her grow, find her people, and settle into this new chapter of her life was honestly so heartwarming. The male lead starts off very grumpy, but not in a one-dimensional way. The tension, the softness that develops between them, the way the relationship builds — it just worked for me. Even the little bit of drama that popped up didn’t feel overdone. It added some tension without derailing the story. And even though I read book one a while ago and didn’t remember every detail, the second I started this one, it all came back. That’s how strong the world-building is in this series. I love how each Edens sibling gets their own story, and how connected everything feels without ever being repetitive. Overall, this was a fast-paced but emotionally satisfying read. I let myself settle into the story without rushing through it, and I’m so glad I did. It’s sweet, romantic, a little messy, and full of heart. I’m loving this series so far, and I’m definitely excited to continue.

Ich habe mich schon sehr gefreut in dieser Reihe weiterzulesen und es war auf jeden Fall gut. Der Anfang war für mich etwas langweilig. Es hat sich angefühlt wie jedes andere Romance Buch aber nach dem ich das erste viertel wurde es sehr viel besser. Die Lovestory hat mir sehr gut gefallen, es war einfach einen schöne und nicht toxische Beziehung. Konflikte wurden gut behandelt und waren sehr verständlich. Ich mochte auch das Theme cholerische Babys und fand die Repräsentation sehr cool. Hab sowas in diese Richtung noch nicht gelesen! Der Schreibstil hat mir auch gut gefallen. Es gab echt ein paar sehr schöne und emotional geschriebene Stellen! Der Suspence Anteil war sehr gut aber die Umsetzung hat mich nicht ganz abgeholt. Es war alles sehr schnell und ganz kurz vor dem Ende. Das fand ich einfach schade, der Plot hätte sehr viel potenzial aber es wurde einfach sehr schnell gemacht. Das hat mir einfach meinen Lesespaß etwas abgeschwächt! Ich kann den Teil auf jeden Fall Empfehlen aber ich finde es schon um einiges schwächer als Band 1. Werde aber dennoch weiterlesen, denn gemocht hab ich es ja trotzdem. Band 3 wirkt auch sehr vielversprechend!
