Rezension von Dr Malini BhatThis book is well-written and emotionally mature, but it didn’t fully deliver for me. Solange is great, but Dean is frustrating for a large chunk of the story—his emotional paralysis is realistic, sure, just not very fun to read. The romance is a slow burn, and while there’s a solid emotional connection, the chemistry felt more lukewarm than sizzling. I kept waiting for the spark to hit… and it never really did. Good themes, good writing—just not a standout romance for me.
