Reviewed by Sarah 🧸Nicht mein Lieblingsbuch von Taylor Jenkins Reid (meiner Lieblingsautorin). Aber es ist sehr toll geschrieben, eine schöne Geschichte über Trauer. Ich mag Trauer einfach nicht. Aber mag das irgendjemand?

Reviewed by LeonieWieder einmal konnte mich die Erzählweise von Taylor Jenkins Reid komplett überzeugen! Der Wechsel zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart lassen einen auf eine ganz besondere Art in der Geschichte voranschreiten. Während wir einerseits die Liebesgeschichte von Elsie und Ben verfolgen, erfahren wir auch, wie Elsie lernt, mit dem Verlust ihrer großen Liebe umzugehen. Auch wenn ich keine allzu tiefe emotionale Bindung zu den Protagonisten aufbauen konnte, fand ich es umso faszinierender, wie die Autorin wichtige Themen wie Liebe, Trauer, den unterschiedlichen Umgang mit Verlust und die Bedeutung von Gefühlen miteinander verbindet und in dieser Geschichte wunderbar ausarbeitet. Für mich ist „Forever, Interrupted“ eine gute Mischung aus einfacher Lovestory und tiefgründiger Auseinandersetzung mit emotionaler Verarbeitung und persönlichem Wachstum. Definitiv kein typischer Liebesroman!
