Reviewed by Jackie StrengerFirst of all: very easy and pleasant read. And here comes the BUT: I like thrillers. And it started so promising. However, I couldn’t get over the feeling that we are more reading a romance novel than a proper thriller. Yes the suspension was growing - will he get Paige and how will it all end? But when I had only 100 pages left and nothing had really happened yet, I lost hope for a real goosebump thriller. And that’s also how it ended. Maybe the other thrillers I read are too thrilling (Katzenbach. McFadyen. Fitzek…). Because this one was a real let down at the end. And does really no one care about „her“ at the end? Don’t want to spoiler here that’s why I won’t say more as I would like to publish the review for everyone accessible without spoilers or an alert. Good and easy to read and digest book. A real Thriller? No.
