The story is very standard Harry Potter and I think I might've enjoyed it a great deal more if it would've been a novel rather than a play. Don't get me wrong, the style is fine but I'd rather experienced it like it was meant to be experienced.
Okay, I can do this. Reviewing this book without spoilering is really hard I can tell you.
Let's begin with the negative things before I get to the amazing things: Yes, the plot was, for the most part, really simple and yes we had a, or some retcons, but I am incapable of not liking anything Potter. Maybe it's got all to do with sentimentality and chilldhood memories, but there it is. I wish Rose would've been more involved though.
For the good parts: This book made me laugh out aloud, scream and cry all in 3 hours. I even forgot to eat. THat's Harry Potter for you. And now I am almost sorry I read it in one sitting. Because we know, this time for real, that this is the end. The end of an era and my childhood and this wonderful world we all love so much. It felt really good to come back and some scenes, which were from the "old" books got revisited and it felt soo good. And I know I WILL be writing fanfiction based on this sooner or later.
So what I loved. First and most important. SUPER UBER NERD SCORPIUS MOLFAY. Seriously. I think he stole everyone the show. I adored him from the very first second.
I enjoyed how Draco and Harry's relationship progressed and everyones, really.
I loved how JKR relived and reviewed and overthought some of her more problematic characters, I think you all know, who I am talking about, and I think she did it splendidly.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Albus and Scopius. Actually this is all I ever wanted in next gen canon. Also some of the slight shippy things that are hinted at. *winks*
Sometimes this book felt like a fanfic and I had to remind myself time and time again, that this is real and legit and CANON. And yes, I can live with that a lot. JKR never disappoints me. NEVER. Okay? Okay.
As I said I can't say more, because everything is spoilery but damn, now I need to see this for real.

3 ⭐️ My love for Snape has gotten even bigger because of this.
Difficult to read at first because of the screenplay version. But I like the story
