Reviewed by LucyI can't explain why, but I've already fallen in love with Penelope in the other books and I was delighted to finally read her story. I really enjoyed the book, you find out the secret of Lady Whistledown, you follow the relationship of Pen & Colin. Even though I sometimes wanted to punch Colin, he developed into a loving man over the course of the book. I would have liked the ending to be different - as I would prefer Lady Whistledown's identity to remain a secret to society - hopefully they change that in the film to make it more exciting. 4.5/5⭐ because I really like this couple and smiled the whole time I was reading.
