Reviewed by AstridExceptionally funny, at times following a plot and characters that can only be described as unhinged. Usually I am not fond of unlikeable or villainous main characters, but Miss Jean Brodie in her prime and ambiguity makes an exception - all due to Muriel Sparks witty and entertaining writing. Perfect Edinburgh holiday read.
