Ich hatte Jasper aus den vorherigen Büchern nicht ganz auf dem Schirm und muss auch zugeben, dass ich die Bücher nicht ganz in der "richtigen" Reihenfolge gelesen habe. Dennoch war "Powerless" eine emotionale Geschichte mit tiefen Wunden. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass die Reihe mit jedem Band eine neue Stufe der "schwierigen Themen" wählt, diese aber ganz sorgfältig und nachvollziehbar darstellt. Gegen Ende ging alles jedoch leider etwas schnell, meines Erachtens hätte man am Anfang (vor dem Roadtrip) etwas rausnehmen und am Ende etwas ausführlicher werden können - das ist aber auch mein einziger Kritikpunkt Ich bin ein großer Fan von "Friends to Lovers" und "Second Chance" - weshalb das Buch für mich super war! Das Feuer zwischen den beiden Charakteren ist unglaublich! Ich habe richtig mitgefiebert, wann zwischen beiden endlich etwas passiert! Zwischendrin war es mir etwas zu viel Spice, auch wenn der Spice gut geschrieben war.
