Ayumu's death at the hands of the Choushuu rebels lights a fire in the hearts of the Shinsengumi. In an act of retaliation, the Shinsengumi storm the rebel's hideout but the ringleaders get away. Meanwhile the real culprit, Yoshida, has cornered our hero Tetsu in a nightmarish reenactment of his parents' murderers.
