The middle book of The Chronicles of the One trilogy was just as great as the first. The virus known as the Doom in in the past and people have gone on to survive and begin anew the best they can. We follow Fallon Swift, "The One, as she leaves her family, as promised, and goes through long drawn, intense training. More battles ensue throughout, in defense of good versus evil. Intertwining and continuing from the first book, this saga leads a great climax to begin the final book of this trilogy.
