I honestly liked this book for a video‑game tie‑in. Most of it was well done and engaging and it spoke to me because I love a good Spider‑Man story :) I especially liked how the villains were portrayed and how their stories fit together. That said, some parts felt rushed. I wanted more progress in Peter and MJ’s relationship, and a few scenes could have used more time - even if that made the book a bit longer. Also, the book starts with Peter talking to Aunt May a lot, and later there’s almost no mention of her; I get that a lot is going on, but that sudden drop‑off didn’t work for me. All in all a solid 3/5 ⭐️
