And she assumes that, as the new girl in her senior year of high school, history will repeat itself. But, against all odds, she instantly clicks with her new classmates, who make her feel welcome. Everyone except James Hunter. James--handsome, mysterious, and the classic definition of a "bad boy"--has a dark and troubled past that only adds to his legend. He's reckless, rude, and loves living on the edge. He is everything June should stay away from. And yet, there's something about him that stirs conflicting feelings within her, pulling her in with an irresistible force.

Reviewed by Valeria D'ambrosioprimo volume della serie. La storia in sé è carina, ma ci sono alcune cose completamente sbagliate: il fatto che non abbiamo nemmeno un pov di will ( personaggio molto complesso, e che quindi merita di essere approfondito dato che è uno dei principali), troppi buchi di trama ( si trovano in salotto ma james butta in piscina stacy🤨?). La loro storia d’amore sembra basata troppo sul sesso e poco sui sentimenti veri (ad esempio quando june ha parlato a james della morte del fratello, o scene dove si creano un’intimità a livello umano e non solo fisico). Ci sono capitoli che mi hanno tenuta incollata, altri che mi hanno annoiata un po, ma tutto sommato è carino. voto: 6.50/10
