Reviewed by sophiehonestly, i enjoyed this more than i expected! the whole concept was pretty interesting and definitely different from what i usually read. i listened to the audiobook on and off, so i wasn’t super invested in the story the entire time, but it still kept me curious enough to want to know how everything would play out. not my favorite colleen hoover book, but overall a pretty good story!

Reviewed by BettinaIch kann absolut verstehen, dass 'Layla' von Colleen Hoover kein Roman für jede*n Leser*in ist. Man muss sich schon auf paranormale Handlungen einlassen. Wenn man so was nicht lesen kann oder will, dann ist das Buch überhaupt nichts. Aber ich habe die Handlung so genommen, wie sie ist, und bin durch das Buch geflogen. Ich habe selten Zeit und vor allem selten den Kopf, ein Buch in einem Rutsch oder an einem Tag zu lesen; hier war es so. Ich persönlich fand die Idee einerseits verrückt und grandios gleichzeitig und war total gut unterhalten. Nein, es ist sicherlich kein Meisterwerk für einen Literaturpreis. Aber mich hat die Geschichte erreicht und ich konnte mich total darin verlieren. Genau das, was ich erwartet habe.
