This novel is a story about a Korean war veteran on a quest to save his younger sister. It's a simple tale, but in the highly accomplished pen of the renown American treasure that is Toni Morrison, it's not that simple to dismiss as rehashed narrative about PTSD and the plight of returning war vets. Although it certainly is that, too. I read this novel in less than a week, but I always contain my literature within a 7-day block. That is all.
