Reviewed by AdrianIch habe etwas gebraucht um in dieses Buch hinein zu kommen, aber es hat sich gelohnt drann zu bleiben! Der Fakt dass dieses Buch nicht in einem WAHNSINNS Happy End endet sondern eher in einem neutralen, offenem Ende, finde ich sehr gut. Der Schreibstil ist sehr ähnlich zu fanfics auf AO3 👀 (ein geiler schreibstil) Ich bin gegen Ende nunmal echt obsessed von dem Bich geworden deshalb fällt mir momentan keine Kritik ein🤔
Reviewed by PaulaIn meinen Leseupdates habe ich es schon oft gesagt: Wenn ihr das Loch in eurem Herzen, das „Heartstopper“ hinterlassen hat, ein klein wenig füllen möchtet, ist dieses Buch eventuell genau das Richtige für euch. Stellt es euch vor wie die Mittelalter-Version von Heartstopper: liebenswerte Charaktere, Queerness, witzige Dialoge, und eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre - all das umgeben von Burggräben, königlichen Turnieren, Fackelschein und Rittern. Ich habe das Lesen sehr sehr genossen, habe mich zwischen den Seiten wahnsinnig wohl gefühlt und mochte, dass sich das Buch so sehr auf die Entwicklungen der Beziehungen, sowohl romantischer als auch freundschaftlicher Natur, konzentriert hat. Mein Herz ist hier und da regelrecht geschmolzen und ich habe so so viel gelacht! Generell bin ich einfach sehr begeistert von der Einzigartigkeit der Idee gewesen. Für das Highlight-Gefühl hätte ich mir jedoch noch deutlich mehr Tiefe und eine etwas passendere Abwicklung der Ereignisse am Ende des Buchs gewünscht. Dennoch eine richtig richtig schöne, empfehlenswerte Geschichte!
