I read this when I was a kid, and stumbled across it recently, so I thought, why not read it again? My only issue is that I had to constantly remind myself that this is a book for kids, so I shouldn't complain (too much) about the prose, which ended up being redundant. The cases were, of course, easy to solve. As a kid starting out to read detective fiction, this is most definitely a good place to start.
