Reviewed by valentinoWhile I had seen the film adaptation before, I wasn’t a big fan of it and. Audrey Hepburn is one of my favorite actors and I think it’s one of her weaker film. Now the original novella is quite a bit different from the adaptation. It’s got more edge, no romance and is generally darker and feels very authentic. Capote’s writing is great and the ending in particular is wonderful. It’s so bittersweet, with the cat an all. A great book, but I didn’t absolutely love it. 3.5/5
