If you could go back to one day of your past, where would you go? With who would you want to meet and talk again? Would you like to be able to change your life by changing some decisions in your past? Would you like to libe through again a very beautiful moment? Would you like to get comfort seeing your future child in the future if you know, you are going to die before you can meet him/her? The number of questions in this topic is endless. And I am 100% sure we want all of it to come true. To be able to do these stuff. It is only possible in a little Japanese town, in a little coffee shop (and only imaginary). But there are some pretty annoying rules. Unfortunately you have to keep them if you don’t want to turn into a ghost. Don’t worry, this book is about the soul, changning emotions and thoughts, saving lifes, and making peace with our lives. The four short-story are all very touching, and make you think about the real treasures of life. This book can teach us a lot, and it has some really nice plot twist. We get to know the real drive and motive of the main characters through the book. It makes the stories very exciting. I would like to present you my favourite parts and big questions: „Surely it’s better not to have the child if your own life is at stake. “Yes, they could have chosen not to.” Kazu did not disagree. “Well, lucky for her, she grew up in a nice environment. If she were left alone in the world to fend for herself, like I was, I think she would begrudge her mother for making that choice.” „Well, surviving alone is much the same as dying alone, don’t you think?” „What that girl said is right. I’d be better off dead than to live life alone.” „She was different from her. While Yayoi was walking through a life of complaints and dissatisfaction, Miyuki was firmly seizing happiness.” „People’s true feelings are not in plain sight. The other person might not be thinking anything, but there is a tendency to just assume what the other is feeling without reaching out and asking. ” I deifinitely am going to read the other books of this author.

4,5 stars This is the third book in the series of „before the coffee gets cold“, which is a story about a cafe where you can travel into the past and future but you can not change the present. Just like the two previous books, this one tells 4 different stories about people that visit the cafe to visit the past/future and you‘ll get to know their reasoning behind it as well as what happens and what changes for them after the experience. Honestly these books are such quick and easy reads but the stories stay with you forever. It‘s a book that makes you think about everything and revalue a lot. Personally I liked the first two books more, probably the second one is still my favorite but again this one is amazing as well.
