The Wayfarers books are all so sweet&warm and great palate cleansers between huge fantasy tomes. However, I preferred the first book in the series a bit more because it focused on a multi-species ADULT crew and in A Closed and Common Orbit, almost half of it the book follows Pepper growing up and especially the scenes where she was 10-15 years old and learning new things about the world felt drawn out a little... Nonetheless - incredibly great books with great concepts! I will definitely read every other installment in the near future.
