She’s the one that got away. He’s the one that never let her go.From the bestselling author of Done and Dusted and Swift and Saddled, the next book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series, a small town romance in which past lovers get a second chance to rediscover what they lost.Camille Ashwood had always loved a plan. Her latest was her best yet. She was going to get married so she could secure her daughter’s future, get her overbearing parents off her back, and finally start building her own life in small town Meadowlark, Wyoming. Easy, right? But when her groom doesn’t show up to the wedding, Cam’s life is turned upside down—she doesn’t even have a place to live. That is, until she finds out the house she’s loved since high school is available to rent. There’s only one problem: the neighbor.Dusty Tucker has spent nearly all of his adult life running. Running from what, though? More like who: Cam Ashwood. But ever since he returned home last year, the girl who was his first, well, everything has become a woman seemingly determined to keep him at arm’s length. And he was okay with that—at least, that’s what he kept telling himself. She was getting married, after all. But now she’s single and living next door. Dusty wants to show her that they can be friends, and that he can stay put.Despite her best attempts to stay far away from Dusty Tucker, Cam realizes that being close to him is like slipping on her favorite jeans. Easy. Comfortable. That is until past wounds start to open and feelings—both old and new—wreak havoc. Nearly ten years after they first met, Dusty and Cam begin to wonder if their first love can also be their last. And this time, will it be forever?

Absolute Herzensreihe !!

I liked Dusty, he was totally down bad for Cam. What I didn’t like was the whole conflict between them. It just felt kind immature… I guess that makes sense since they were so young. Still, if their feelings were that strong, did it really need to take 15 years for them to talk again? Come on. Also, the stuff with her parents, why bring it up at all. It felt like it was just brushed aside and never mentioned again.

He has the first letter of her nickname tattooed on in neck, writes her love letters for 15 years and buys a house she later lives in because it reminded him of her?? Hit me up

i love a good second chance romance <3 dusty is the sweetest ever and the fact that he was ready to jump into cams life immediately again was so cute. he is such a golden retriever and the most patient man. cam is also lovely as hell. she struggled throughout the book and could finally find peace and love with dusty. i have to admit that she irritated me slightly at the end. yes, dusty probably should have told her about the house but her being so mad over that and saying mean things to him was not it. luckily ada and wes told some sense into her. i enjoyed their moments together and how they got back to each other. also to see that dusty wanted to settle after such a long time and cam finding her purpose on rebel blue ranch made me genuinely happy for them. i felt like we got a little too less of riley in this book :/ she is so sweet i would’ve loved to see her more often. the ending was also a little abrupt but it was still nice. the initial break up of cam and dusty was kinda built up to be dramatic and possibly messy as hell but when we actually got to that part i was like: that’s it? like she just left and never spoke again after? dusty never tried to contact her over the break up?
