Fesselnd, geheimnisvoll und nervenaufreibend. Einige Hauptcharaktere sind mir unglaublich ans Herz gewachsen, während andere mich zur Weißglut getrieben haben. Der Schreibstil und die herbstliche Dark-Academia-Atmosphäre waren so toll – große Empfehlung an alle Mystery-Fans!!
Mir hat das Buch sehr gut gefallen. Ich mag das Dark Academia Setting ohnehin und der Einstieg mit dem Vermisstenfall und die ganzen Intrigen haben eine gute Mystery Story draus gemacht. Mit der Aufklärung wurde ein sehr ernstes Thema angesprochen, was mir wirklich gut gefallen hat. Das Cover find ich persönlich ja so gut gelungen. Mir hat nur irgendwie irgendwas gefehlt, sodass es kein absolutes Highlight für mich geworden ist. Aber ich kann das Buch echt weiterempfehlen und fand es spannend bis zur letzten Seite!
Great book. Poor Sade, being treated that way by her dad and finally getting a little bit of free time with the new school. I loved the writing style, however for me personally the font in the printed paperback was a little bit too small for my bad eyes but the book itself was pretty good and is a 5-star read for me
Mir fällt es immer etwas schwer, negative Bewertungen zu schreiben. Ich hatte mir einiges von dem Buch erhofft, als ich den Klappentext gelesen habe. Leider war es nicht mein Fall. Es war mehr Highschool-Drama als alles andere. Die Spannung hielt sich in Grenzen, und mit der Hauptprotagonistin Sade konnte ich ebenfalls nicht viel anfangen. Baz war der einzige Charakter, der mir wirklich sympathisch war. Zum Ende hin kam zwar etwas Spannung auf, aber das hat für mich nicht ausgereicht, um den Rest des Buches aufzuwiegen. Der Schreibstil hat mir hingegen gut gefallen – flüssig und angenehm zu lesen. Dieses Buch ist definitiv für Leser und Leserinnen geeignet, die Geschichten rund um Highschool, Internate und junge Erwachsene mögen.
