Rezension von MelMit Spinner, Wells erstem Buch, konnte ich mich gar nicht anfreunden. Daher war ich super kritisch, als ich anfing Das Ende der Einsamkeit zu lesen. Es hat jedoch meine Wahrnehmung auf den Autor verändert. Der in Spinners erzwungene und gewollte Schriftstil hat sich zu so einer ehrlichen und rohen Art des Erzählens entwickelt, die mich so gefesselt hat! Diese Geschichte tut so unfassbar weh und hallt in mir nach, so nah fühlen sich seine Worte an.
Rezension von Hells🦦Was für ein tolles Buch. Es wurde mir immer wieder empfohlen und jetzt habe ich es mal gewagt. Am Anfang fand ich es schwer mich in die Geschichte einzubinden, aber dann wird man einfach mitgerissen. Ein Buch über das Leben, was mich am Ende auch zu Tränen geführt hat, weil es traurig, mutig und vorallem schön war. Wells Schreibstil wickelt einen beim Lesen ein, es ist leicht. Wenn man denkt, man weiß was passiert, ist es anders und doch so wie das Leben.
Rezension von MichelleVor ein paar Wochen hab ich eine Frau an der Bushaltestelle gesehen, die dieses Buch gelesen hat und völlig darin vertieft war. Heute kann ich sie verstehen. Diese Geschichte wird mich so schnell nicht mehr loslassen!

Rezension von hannaEin schönes Buch. Emotional, mitreißend und einfach geschrieben. An manchen Stellen merkt man ein Wenig, dass die weiblichen Figuren schon sehr aus der männlichen Perspektive beschrieben werden (ich lese ansonsten besonders deshalb lieber Bücher von weiblichen/non-binären Autorinnen). Trotzdem hat mich das Buch emotional mitgenommen und ich habe es gerne gelesen. Man versteh die verschiedenen Charaktere, da sie doch recht einfach gehalten sind. Man kommt auf jeden Fall sehr schnell durch die Seiten.
