Rezension von Monique MSuch a weird, though thoroughly enjoyable read. Definitely recommend. As with quite a few books I read, I tend to trust BookTok and Bookstagram hype without knowing too much about the plot before diving in, which is usually a lot of fun—and that was also the case with The Wedding People. Because of that, even the premise of the story came as quite a surprise to me. I found the book both humorous and, at the same time, surprisingly deep. It offers a positive perspective on life, which feels especially needed in the current climate. It shows that no matter how dark life may seem, things can get better, and that we all have agency to change our own lives. That said, I was a bit surprised by how the novel ended. I was almost certain there would be a twist at the very end, but that likely would have taken away from the overall message. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this book if you enjoy slightly unbelievable, yet life-affirming stories.

This book is soo witty and enjoyable, one day where I was too busy to read I was only thinking about it and what would happen next! Everything is so nice and cute the whole book is just awesome. Remembering back to when I was reading the book only wearms my heart and I wish I could experience my first time reading this book again!! 101/10
