The Tales of Beedle the Bard
von J. K. Rowling
The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a Wizarding classic, first came to Muggle readers' attention in the book known as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Now, thanks to Hermione Granger's new translation from the ancient runes, we present this stunning edition with an introduction, notes, and illustrations by J.K. Rowling, and extensive commentary by Albus Dumbledore. Never before have Muggles been privy to these richly imaginative tales.

This made me SO nostalgic. The tales are all very beautiful and pointedly crafted. Some parts are unexpectedly dark as well, which i loved, and Dumbledore’s notes after every story are such a lovely addition. It was so nice to read about the Harry Potter universe again, I wish I’d already read this as a child.
The Tales are nice. J.K. is a good writer. But she is also a TERF. I won't buy new books from her. Just read/re-read the ones I already have.
dooone!
My friend and I read all of the stories while waiting in line for Deathly Hallows Part 2. Well worth getting. Not to mention we added some footnotes of our own. - N.L and L.L
