Rezension von Matcha Marie 🍵Einfach mal anders und genau das hat mir gefallen! Statt des typischen zwei Meter großen Love Interests bekommen wir hier einen „Short King“, und das war erfrischend charmant. Die Chemie zwischen den Figuren, vor allem in den Szenen in der Küche, war zum Greifen spürbar ein echtes Highlight. Besonders berührt hat mich der Einblick in die jüdische Kultur durch die Schwiegereltern der Protagonistin liebevoll und authentisch dargestellt, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Auch die ADHS-Repräsentation fand ich sehr gelungen: differenziert, nachvollziehbar und ohne Klischees. Ein Wohlfühlbuch mit Herz, Humor und einer Romanze, die sich Zeit lässt genau richtig für Fans von Slow Burns mit Tiefe.
