Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Matt Haig's enchanting novel, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision. 📖 The Midnight Library by Matt Haig ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 4,5 stars I’m so glad I decided to read The Midnight Library, even though I didn’t enjoy The Midnight Train nearly as much. In my opinion, The Midnight Library is far superior. The story has much more depth, and I found myself genuinely connecting with the main character, Nora. The novel follows Nora, who, after experiencing what feels like the worst day of her life, finds herself in a mysterious library between life and death. There, she is given the opportunity to revisit her regrets and explore the countless alternative lives she could have lived if she had made different choices. It’s a story about friendship, regret, mental health, family, and so much more. Watching Nora grow throughout the book is incredibly moving, and many of the themes and reflections resonated deeply with me. The ending was both satisfying and meaningful, leaving a lasting impression. I’m truly glad I picked up this book, as it’s one that I know will stay with me for a very long time.
