Rezension von EstherLoved it so much. I did not expect that much of this book before reading, because I am usally not into romance when it is very clichee like. But this was so good to read. I liked the academic setting and that the main characters are in their late twenties/thirties. The relationship is a emotional rollercoaster and I loved how I immediatly fell in love with the main characters. It is very well written and I definetly recommand it.
Rezension von candy 💌Nette Urlaubslektüre. Es war schön zu sehen wie Wissenschaft und die Hypothesen in dem Buch eingebaut wurden, der Titel ist demnach sehr passend. Ich fand auch spannend wie die Probleme in der Wissenschaft aufgezeigt wurden bspw: Unterfinanzierung in Laboren, Machtspiele und Abhängigkeitsverhältnisse, Mobbing und Konflikte sowie der mangelnden Work-Life Balance udn Armut als Student/in. Spoiler: Was mir nicht so gefallen hat war, dass das Buch teilweise sehr vorhersehbar und unrealistisch war z.B: die Aufnahme von Tom, das erste Treffen von Olive und Adam im Labor oder das ganze Lügenkonstrukt was Olive aufgebaut hat, nur um ihre Freundin zu überzeugen, dass sie über ihren Ex-Freund hinweg ist. Zusammengefasst ein humorvolles Buch mit Stärken und Schwächen.
Rezension von Selten hat mich ein Romance-Buch so abgeholt wie „The Love Hypothesis“ es getan hat. Fake Dating ist so ein tolles Trope und wurde hier einfach absolut perfekt umgesetzt. Die Geschichte ist humorvoll, clever, romantisch und so viel mehr. Ich habe jede einzelne Seite geliebt! Olive war so eine tolle Protagonistin und Adam, hach, er war einfach nur absolut liebenswert. Ich mochte außerdem, wie Wissenschaft und Forschung in die Geschichte eingebaut wurden. Ich glaub, ich hab ein Jahreshighlight!
