Rezension von DanielaThe Loop konnte mich richtig fesseln von Anfang bis zum Ende fiebert man mit Luke und seinen Freunden mit. Überraschend spannend und zum Teil auch ziemlich brutal, damit hatte ich so nicht gerechnet, es passt jedoch zur Geschichte und macht es um so glaubwürdiger. Band zwei muss auf jeden Fall auch bald mal her.
Rezension von feder_magieDie Geschichte beginnt ganz interessant. Man erfährt viel über das Leben im Loop und auch über Luka. Das Worldbuilding ist sehr interessant und die Idee dahinter neu und innovativ. Die kleinen Details, wie der Auslöscher oder die Stirnkamera sind wirklich gut eingebunden worden. Ich war überrascht, wie viel Gewalt in diesem Jugendbuch gezeigt wird. Das hat die Situation sehr authentisch gemacht. Doch im Laufe der Geschichte wird es dann weniger innovativ. Problemlösungen durch praktische Zufälle und junge Helden, die die Welt retten wollen. Der Mittelteil schwächelt an Spannung und nimmt zum Ende hin wieder Fahrt auf. Dort gibt es dann tatsächlich eine Szene, die sehr stark an Panem erinnert. Luka selbst ist ein echter Sympathieträger und ich mochte ihn unheimlich gerne. Auch Wren ist für mich ein toller Charakter geworden, während alle Anderen eher nebensächlich gehalten werden. Wahrscheinlich gefällt mir auch deswegen der Mittelteil nicht wirklich. Es sind zu viele Charaktere und zu wenig Zeit, auf diese einzugehen, auch wenn der Autor anfangs immer wieder versucht alle Personen in die Story einzubinden. Alles in allem konnte mich das Buch schon unterhalten und ich möchte unbedingt Band 2 lesen, aber meine Erwartungen waren wohl durch die guten Stimmen viel zu hoch.
