Sie sind mir erst über die Serie und jetzt auch über die Bücher so unfassbar ans Herz gewachsen, dass ich sie bis zum Start vo Ich liebeeee diese Reihe und vor allem die beiden über alles. Sie sind mir erst über die Serie und jetzt auch über die Bücher so unfassbar ans Herz gewachsen, dass ich sie bis zum Start von Staffel zwei (Heated Rivalry) nächstes Jahr sehr vermissen werde. Ich persönlich fand den zweiten Teil sogar noch besser, denn hier zeigt sich wie schwer und kräftezehrend es ist eine Beziehung, von zwei in der Öffentlichkeit stehenden Personen, geheim zu halten. Obwohl sie das nicht müssen sollten, denn an diesem Punkt hat unsere Gesellschaft versagt. Sollte nicht Liebe über Rivalität oder der Meinung anderer Menschen stehen? Über Ilya möchte ich garnicht erst anfangen. Der Charakter hat seit Beginn ein Platz in meinem Herz (Shane natürlich auch). Es wird so real, wie er sich fühlt und wie ihn das überwältigt, dass ich mehr als ein paar Tränen verdrücken musste während des Lesens. Ich werde mich jetzt auch an die anderen Bände machen und hoffe das irgendwann alle begreifen, das Liebe das schönste und stärkste im Leben ist und das alle alle lieben dürfen, denn Liebe geht weit über die Grenzen von Geschlecht und Stereotyp hinaus. Und damit auch vielen Dank für das tolle Happy End in diesem Buch!!!!!
Rezension von KalypsoThis was so beautiful! I was always either laughing, crying, or smiling! To witness Ilya and Shane as a couple, how they navigate their relationship and all the struggles in their way was amazing! Without a doubt my favorite Game Changer Book. I can't wait for "Unrivaled"!
Rezension von LarissaEs hat mich allgemein nicht so eingefangen wie "Heated Rivalry", einfach weil ich es allgemein spannender finde den Weg zum Zusammensein zu erleben, als das was danach kommt. Trotzdem war das Buch echt gut und auch wichtig im Bezug auf Mental Health. Ich hätte Ilya und Shane ein anderes Outing gewünscht, aber immerhin hat die Beziehung alles überstanden und ich bin froh, dass die beiden glücklich sind.
