2.75 stars... I expected more but maybe I'm just not the right type of person for this book 😒
Four Stars for a Book I didn’t really enjoy reading? Yes this happens! It happens because it is a rare jewel of a utopian novel, which is a genre that seems to be endangered. And it happens because the ideas are built and torn so carefully, never black and white, always looking behind the masquerade of humankind. If I wanted to write a novel it would be quite similar to the dispossessed. Somebody from a utopian society arrives at a capitalist, narrow minded world and gets in little conflicts and asking the big questions. It’s a classic, it’s utopian and if you are a science fiction nerd you have to read it.
