Es war sooooo traurig😭😭 Newt und Teresa meine Pookies haben das nicht verdient💔aber das Buch war trotzdem richtig gut, ich hab es an einem Tag durchgelesen💋💋Bin gerade so traurig weil es jetzt zu Ende ist.

The Death Cure is quite different from the first two books and at times feels more like horror than classic YA. What frustrated me the most was the constant feeling that everything was part of WCKD’s plan. No matter what the group tried to do to free themselves or fight back, it always comes down to “that was planned.” Rebellion? Planned. Escape? Planned. Emotional reactions? Also planned. At some point it feels like the characters never really had a choice, because even hope or alternative solutions are just more variables in the experiment. Some developments, especially regarding Newt, were just as heavy as in the movie and hit me emotionally quite hard. At the same time, I liked Brenda much more here than in the film adaptations. She has more room to develop, although towards the end I did briefly wonder whether she was actually working one hundred percent for WCKD or at least suspected that the alternative plan was theirs as well. Uncomfortable, dark, and psychologically much more intense than expected, even if the “everything was planned” motif did start to annoy me at times.

My newtie.. he didn’t deserve to die. Loved it also more then the books had little trouble understanding where they were or what exactly has happened. Miss my newt and cried where Thomas shot him…

2.5⭐️ One of the few times where I prefer the movies… Notes: - I wasn’t the biggest Maze Runner fan to begin with, only read the books cause I enjoyed the movies - I say it again: Thomas isn’t the most interesting main character/chosen one for me - the chapters are so short that it’s hard to get into a flow - Minho is still my favourite, like Brenda a lot too - just couldn’t get my full attention despite the emotional moments Quotes: - „Minho looked at Thomas, a serious expression on his face. ‚If I don't see you on the other side,‘ he said in a sappy voice, ‚remember that I love you.‘“ - „‚KILL ME!‘ And then Newt's eyes cleared, as if he'd gained one last trembling gasp of sanity, and his voice softened. ‚Please, Tommy. Please.‘ With his heart falling into a black abyss, Thomas pulled the trigger.“

oh man Ich hatte etwas viel besseres erwartet Im prinzip mochte ich das Buch nur wegen den Charakteren, so viel Action war langweilig (das ist ironisch) Alles war sehr durcheinander und so hin und her das war scheisse Viele Dinge haben keinen Sinn gemacht Es gab keinen richtigen Plot Den Kampf ganz am Schluss bei WICKED fand ich so langweilig 😭 Viel zu lang Der Ausbruch am Anfang ging, aber hat sich krass gezogen Alles in der Stadt war okay, diesen Crank Palace fand ich krass (generell alles mit Newt) MINHO, NEWT, JORGE UND BRENDA SIND DIE BESTEN WAAAAHHHH Alle hassen irgendwie Brende aber ich mochte sie alsoooo Thomas war so wie auch immer Teresa gut dass sie fast nicht da war keine Ahnung wieder warum aber ich mag sie nicht so wirklich Ich habe immer noch so viel Fragen, hoffe aber die Zusatzbücher werden alles klären 😭 SPOILER Thomas sagt immer, wie er keine Menschen umbringen kann, aber wenn er es dann tut ist es ihm egal? Also nichts über seine Gefühle wird erwähnt Genauso ist es ein bisschen mit den Toden (auch schon in den beiden Büchern davor) Wenn jemand stirbt wird es manchmal nur so random erwähnt wie traurig das Thomas macht aber das wars dann auch UNDDD NACH ALL DEN BÜCHERN MÖCHTE THOMAS SEINE ERINNERUNGEN NICHT ZURÜCK???? ER PROVOZIERT MICH SO Die ganze Zeit hat er sich beschwert, dass er sich an nichts erinnern kann und jetzt, wo er die Chance kriegt, sie wieder zu bekommen tut er nichts??? Außerdem dass er sich nicht opfern wollte war so bescheuert Warum war er sich so sicher dass WICKED kein Heilmittel findet?? Safe wollte er nur nicht sterben was verständlich ist 💀, aber das war so out of character für ihn Er will doch immer alle retten wtf Alles mit Newt war aber so gut gemacht ich war so traurig DIE SZENE KURZ VOR SEINEM TOD WAR SO SCHLIMM MAN ICH KANN DAS NICHT MEHR NEINNN WIE er gestorben ist war aber scheisse und hätte krasser sein sollen 💀 Er ist so ein wichtiger Charakter gewesen, das war goofy Warum hat Thomas ihn nur erschossen man Hat er nicht die ganze Zeit gesagt er könnte niemals seinen Freund töten?? Ich habe mich über Teresas Tod gefreut weil ich sie nicht mag lmao Trotzdem finde ich, dass der viel krasser hätte sein sollen (wie ich schon bei Newt gesagt habe), weil sie ja schon ein wichtiger Charakter ist Aber egal ich mag sie eh nicht Dass die jetzt alle in einer Art Paradies leben und ganz viel Sex haben werden während der Rest der Menschheit ausstirbt ist goofy Thomas hätte einfach sein Gehirn hergeben sollen
