I really REALLY wanted to like this book, but I actually….didn’t. I was hoping for female rage but that was not quite what I got out of it. I felt for Rhiannon, but I didn‘t like her. And I do know that liking her character is not necessary and also kind of the point of the story, but I wasn‘t rooting for her at all. Death and sex/lust go way too much hand in hand for my liking and while Rhiannon mostly kills men/predators, she also kills women (although one could argue they had it coming) and in the end, it all gets a bit random. While she might be a multilayered character, I could not get past her being deeply misogynistic.
