Rezension von Sandy„Spiral“ erzählt die Geschichte der ehrgeizigen Balletttänzerin Sage und des bodenständigen Eishockeyspielers Elias, die aus Imagegründen eine Fake-Beziehung eingehen. Während Sage um Anerkennung im Rampenlicht kämpft und Elias sportlich sowie privat mit Vorurteilen zu kämpfen hat, entwickeln sich zwischen ihnen echte Gefühle. Nach einem etwas holprigen Einstieg überzeugt die Geschichte mit einem flüssigen Schreibstil und authentisch transportierten Emotionen. Besonders die Dynamik zwischen den sympathischen Protagonisten sowie das Wiedersehen mit bekannten Figuren aus dem ersten Band machen den Roman sehr gelungen. Lediglich das etwas in die Länge gezogene Ende und der überladene Epilog trüben den Gesamteindruck leicht.
