Janice leaves behind her life of luxury in San Francisco and sets sail to find a simpler life in Washington. When her ship sinks in a tempest, she is rescued by a muscular Skokomish Indian. Despite his reputation as a fearsome savage, Janice finds a gentle, caring companion.
