Rezension von FriederikeHier haben sich spannende Abschnitte mit weniger packendenden immer wieder abgewechselt. Gerade das Schreiben der Briefe hat in meinen Augen dem ersten Teil viel aus gemacht & hat mir hier doch gefehlt. Das Ende war leider echt unspektakulär & ich hätte mir etwas „epischeres“ gewünscht. Trotzdem gab es auch mehr als genug sehr emotionale Momente & wirklich tolle Abschnitte! Im direkten Vergleich kommt es nur leider nicht an den Vorgänger ran.
Rezension von LiaEine gelungene Fortsetzung der Story von Iris und Roman! Im ersten Teil hatte mir der Bezug zu den Göttern etwas gefehlt und ich hatte nicht so die Vorstellung von ihnen, aber im zweiten Teil bekommt man von dem 'göttlichem' endlich mehr zu lesen. Das hat mir gut gefallen, weil man damit auch die Hintergründe besser verstehen konnte. Die Beschreibungen finde ich sehr bildhaft und einprägsam - Darce ist ein sehr interessanter & komplexer Charakter wie ich finde. Auch in diesem Buch gibt es wieder super schöne Worte in den Briefen, allerdings fand ich die Briefwechsel im ersten Teil etwas schöner. Das liegt aber vielleicht auch daran, dass sich Roman und Iris darüber erst kennengelernt und verliebt haben. Auch wenn es mich etwas gestört hat, das Roman sich zu Beginn nicht wirklich erinnern konnte ist das ganze doch schlüssig und man kann die Story und die Handlung gut nachvollziehen. Das erste Buch hatte mich etwas mehr in den Bann gezogen und daher hab ich leider länger wie gewünscht für das Buch gebraucht - aber das liegt nicht unbedingt an dem Schreibstil, den finde ich wie auch im ersten Teil außergewöhnlich schön und irgendwie auch anmutig 😊 Mein einziger Kritikpunkt wäre, dass mir am Schluss der 'Kampf' gegen Darce etwas zu schnell ging. Und etwas mehr Einsatz von Enva hätte ich irgendwie auch erwartet, weil so wie das ganze verlaufen ist, hat es etwas zu simpel gewirkt. Aber alles in allem ist Letters of Enchantment nun eine meiner Lieblingsreihen! 💝
Rezension von Maria Obwohl ich das Buch vor weniger als einer Woche gelesen habe, fällt es mir schwer mich an etwas zu erinnern. Die Auflösung fühlte sich übereilt und nicht ganz schlüssig an und auch der mittlere Teil zog sich in die Länge. Netter Abschluss der Geschichte, da keine Fragen offengeblieben sind, jedoch kann es Band 1 nicht das Wasser reichen.
